The Garden of the Silver Palm, an historic Danish Manor Home, is above town, sitting high in the breezes off the Caribbean Sea, over-looking the valley that holds the port town of Charlotte Amalie. Astounding views of sea, distant islands, sailing vessels, sunsets and more can be seen from each apartment. The grounds are enclosed in an old and thick stone wall, with scrolled wrought iron gates. |

Just a few steps from each apartment's private entrance are beautiful gardens, large sun decks with umbrelled tables and chairs, and the dipping pool. We offer Ivory bar soap, fine quality shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, for the bath. A basic spice and condiment assortment, plus a starter breakfast kit of granola, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and milk, is provided, in the kitchen. There is a laundry facility and we provide supplies for your convenience |

There is one old, friendly and well mannered dog, Fergus, and one fat cat, Maybeline, who minds her own business, on the property. Three large turtles bumble about in the back gardens. We have several small ponds with fat koi among the papayrus and waterlilies, plus many hummingbirds, finches, doves, wild parrots and bananaquits visit our feeders and bird bath. The occasional iguana comes to nibble on the red hibiscus flowers, and a variety of geckos and anoles live in the gardens. |
